Play Party Etiquette

1.  There is typically no house safeword at munch associated parties.  We are a close-knit group in which everyone looks out for each other.  If you have a safeword, let it be known.  If you have limits, let them be known.  If you are in trouble or being harassed or bothered, let someone know.  The first person that should be informed of safewords and/or limits should be the person domming you.  If problems arise with harassment of any form, notify the person/persons hosting the party.

2.  Basic Play Party Etiquette must be adhered to at all times.  DO NOT interfere with a scene.  DO NOT touch anyone, collared or not, or anyone's gear without permission of the owner!!!  If a person is new to the group, this does not make them an open target for idiotic, suggestive, or degrading remarks or come-ons.  Please use some basic courtesy and manners when approaching a person who is new,  or old for that matter.  Please keep all conversation, laughter, and comments to a minimum around the immediate area of a scene.  If you are really confused as to what basic party etiquette is, ask before acting on instinct.

3.  The use of alcohol and illegal substances are strongly discouraged during any Burghermunch associated play party.  Don't come to a party if you think you are going to alter these rules.  Please comply with the rules of the house on this matter.  If there are any instances of a person or persons becoming intoxicated and/or obnoxious, they will be removed from the party immediately.

4.  Smoking is not permitted inside the GLCC.

5.  If you do a wax, blood, or messy scene, please use a drop cloth.  Please clean up after your scene.  Leave all equipment free of sweat, blood, other bodily fluids, wax, toys, etc.

6.  Your mother isn't here to pick up after you. Please remember to pick  up your own little messes (drink cups, food, plates...) throughout the night, respect the house you are in as you are a guest.

7.  Rides.  If you do not have a ride home from a party, do not come to the party!  Coordinating and getting ready for a party is a lot of work.  For those of us hosting parties, we really want to be able to enjoy our parties without having to be bothered by or try to figure out how to get someone home.  Please make arrangements in advance.

8.  Any use of cameras, video or audio recording devices is up to the people within the recording range of these devices. Please get permission before snapping a picture or recording a scene in any format.  Due to the prevalence of picture phones, please leave your cell phones off during the party.

9.  Enjoy yourself !
